Hi, I’m Heather, CEO by title and Confidence Builder by passion.

I am an alopecia wig expert with over 35 years of personal experience navigating hair loss. My journey with alopecia began at just three years old, and over the years I have lived through every stage of hair loss — from small patches that grew back, to complete hair loss, regrowth, and ultimately permanent hair loss.

Because of this journey, I bring not only professional knowledge but deep empathy to everyone I help. I truly understand what it feels like to lose your hair — and what it means to find confidence again.

For most of my life, I quietly covered my hair loss with wigs and hairpieces. In 2019, I shared my alopecia story publicly, and many friends I had known for over 20 years were shocked to learn I wore wigs. That moment reaffirmed what I already knew: the right wig can look completely natural and change how you feel about yourself.

Over the years, I’ve worn nearly every type of wig imaginable. It wasn’t until I discovered Jon Renau wigs that everything changed. The quality, comfort, realistic appearance, and affordability stood out immediately. For the first time, I received genuine compliments on my “hair” and felt like myself again.

My mission is to support individuals experiencing medical hair loss at every stage of their journey. I have a special place in my heart for children facing hair loss, and one of my long-term goals is to provide free wigs for children with medical hair loss, because no child should feel alone or unseen.
